This spectacular embroidery is a part of the 8-piece “Deep Space Journey” series. It is a series of images from deep space, originally made by Hubble telescope. It can be purchased and admired as a single piece of 40 x 40 cm (15.7 x 15.7 in), or you can get more pieces from the series for your home, office or business premises. The whole series as a set of 8 measures 80 x 160 cm (31.4 x 62.8 in).

This beautiful embroidery depicts Arp-Madore 2026-424 system, as seen and taken by Hubble telescope. This otherworldly marvel strangely resembles a ghostly face with two eyes, staring through Hubble back to us, across 704 million light-years. Each eye is the bright core of the galaxy, one of which slammed into another. The outline of the face is a ring of young blue stars, and other clumps of new stars form nose and mouth. But even resemblance of a face aside, this image is exquisite – such head-on smash-ups are not common and creation of ring around two collided galaxies is even more rare. We managed to recreate this colossal event in masterpiece embroidery, consisting of more than hundred thousand stitches.
